Studio S.O is a Melbourne-based interior design studio founded by Olivia Babarczy, BCom, CFA, Dip. Interior Design. The studio creates timeless, meaningful interiors that evoke an emotional response, with Country considered at the heart of the design process.

Olivia brings more than 20 years of experience across interior design and property development. She studied at the prestigious Inchbald School of Design in London and is currently completing a Master of Architecture at Monash University.

Her work has been featured across a range of leading publications and media.

Olivia is increasingly drawn to regenerative design, exploring how interiors can contribute positively to their environment, respond meaningfully to Country and support enduring, sustainable ways of living.

Studio S.O’s portfolio spans Victoria and New South Wales, with projects completed in Prahran, Toorak, Brunswick and the Mornington Peninsula, as well as Bondi, Bronte, Vaucluse, Woollahra, Bellevue Hill, Elizbeth Bay, Watsons Bay, Dover Heights, Palm Beach and the Southern Highlands.

The studio’s diverse portfolio reflects a multifaceted and highly considered approach to design. Each interior responds to architectural context, location and, most importantly, the way occupants live. The result is a collection of enduring, deeply personal spaces with a strong sense of place and a distinct emotional resonance.
