Retain + Reimagine.
Adaptive reuse is central to our approach. We work carefully with existing buildings, materials and details, preserving their character and embodied energy while giving them renewed purpose. Through thoughtful planning and minimal intervention, we seek to reduce demolition, waste and unnecessary consumption.

Materials + Health.
We favour natural, responsibly sourced and low-impact materials selected for their beauty, durability and ability to age well. Material choices consider provenance, embodied carbon, indoor air quality, maintenance and the potential for future reuse.

Longevity + Care.
We design interiors to endure—functionally, emotionally and materially. Flexible spaces, quality craftsmanship and timeless rather than trend-driven decisions allow interiors to evolve with the people who inhabit them.

Guided by Country, Studio S.O is increasingly exploring regenerative design: moving beyond reducing harm to consider how interiors might restore, support and contribute positively to their environment. Each project is an opportunity to listen, learn and create spaces that care for people, place and the future.
